Chip Brock |

Chip Brock grew up in Kansas. Art was a strong force in his life even
at a very young age. Wildlife has always been the major theme of his
work and was fueled by an early love of hunting and fishing.
Chip earned a B.F.A. in Graphic Design from Fort Hays State University
in1993, and he worked full time as a designer for several KS
manufacturing companies, but the urge to paint never left.
Chip married his wife Kymberli while in college, and they moved to
Idaho in 2002. The beauty of the Rocky Mountain West, gave Chip all
the inspiration he needed to concentrate on the wildlife he so loves
to paint. Life has now taken Chip and his family to the wildlife rich
state of Alaska where he will continue to focus his efforts
on even more incredible subjects.
Chip's paintings have earned him honors as a finalist in the Kansas
Wildlife Art Series, Top 200 in Art for the Parks and Top 100 in the
Paint the Parks competition.
