Greg's home and studio are located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains of Colorado. He is a self-taught artist who has been creating art and illustrations for over 25 years, drawing inspiration from the landscape, animals, and people of the West.

According to Greg, "Once I know where the lighting is coming from, the rest is a playground of abstraction. Using a palette knife, I apply spontaneous strokes of thick oil paint, one on top of the other. I don't think about it; I just react to the paint and the emotional energy within myself. After applying many layers of paint, new shapes, colors, and images appear, and a buffalo or rugged mountain landscape emerges through the paint. I aim to convey constant motion and spiritual energy and show absolute beauty in creating my personal vision of Colorado and the Southwest."
